Bolt is StackBlitz's AI-powered web app builder. It runs entirely in the browser using WebContainers - no local environment needed. Describe what you want and Bolt generates a full-stack application, installs npm packages, runs the dev server, and lets you iterate by chatting. It supports React, Next.js, Vue, and other frameworks. Unlike Lovable, Bolt gives you full access to the code and terminal in-browser. It competes directly with Lovable and v0 in the 'prompt-to-app' category. The main advantage is zero setup - everything runs in your browser tab.
