Web-standards-first React framework, now merged with React Router v7. Loaders and actions, nested routing, and progressive enhancement out of the box.
Remix is the React framework that leans hard on web standards. Data loading and mutations use Request and Response objects, forms work without JavaScript, and nested routes ship with parallel data loading by default. In 2024 Remix merged its roadmap into React Router v7, so new apps adopt React Router framework mode and get the same model. Best fit for teams who want a framework that feels closer to the web platform than to React-internals abstractions.
